LG’s way of Eee-PC competitor
August 4, 2008 | In: Eee PC hardware

The first reports that LG is also under way with an Eee-PC competitor to flourish are now online. Their Eee-”wannabes-killer” says LG x110 and the expected coming in October. There will be a machine with a 9-inch display, Intel Atom CPU, 120GB HD and 2 GB of RAM – in other words specs at the high end .. Furthermore, in response to a model with built-opportunity HDSPA – in other words, 3G, so you get rid of the dongle in its Eee-PC or to run 3G via bluetooth. Before coming, however, we must fastidious that Asus has launched at least a few hand-full of new Eee PC machines that can do everything the same and more. ![]()
In my opinion it is not the big surprise, since now all major PC manufacturers have a small new on the road .. For many the surprise was Asus Eee PC after all a huge sales success, so there is nothing strange in that other producers as soon as possible, also want a slice of the Eee PC market. However, it must become more and more difficult, since the market of course now is to run – not least of all Asus Eee PC own variants. ![]()
MSI Wind, Acer and HP’s one we know already. And so we know that Intel and Dell also have little new and fun on the road .. So I predict that we can soon expect a “surprising” news on that Lenovo, Fujitsu-Siemens and Toshiba have Eee-PC clones in the pipeline. Medion was also a fine Eee-PC-clone ready for sale right now. It is becoming a more day-old news, but read a little more about it a little later during the day here at the Asus Eee PC blog! ![]()
