Rumors about new Eee PCs with bigger keyboards:
Asus syringes after all new machines out so quickly that it is impossible to follow. Maybe they try to saturate the market so that competitors will find it harder to get a foot on the soil? ![]()
The existing models and “just-in-stairs models” includes course 700/701 (4G/8G), 900, 901, 1000, 1000h and 1000HD besides Eee PC Box (mini desktop PC) in another “genre”.
Now rumors that there are a few new models in the pipeline: Namely, with the full model names Asus Eee PC 903, Asus Eee PC 904 and Asus Eee PC 905 – which the former may come to be called Eee PC 900A instead. 904′en are already finding in a version with HD and Windows, that is. 904HD, at AsusTek’s website.
Rumors have been somewhat mixed, but according to Asus’ website with 904HD’en, it appears that the model comes with the “middle” screen at 8.9 “with 1024 x 600 resolution and Celeron CPUs (although the Last of all models now come with Atom CPU, which is faster and more heat-saving).
The other rumor is that the recent extension of the series is primarily to sell the “cheap” 900-model in a slightly larger cabinet in order to get a little bigger keyboard – just because the keyboard has been a criticism of many (there are simply too small for people with sausage fingers or oven glove-Look!
) There seems to Eee PC 904 is neddroslet on some other characteristics, not least webcam’et. So the rumors that it is a cheap model securely on the right track.
But HOLD DA KAJE where Asus will send a very new addition – it is becoming a rather confusing series now! ![]()
