So Dell finally launched their NETBOOK! The name is Dell Inspiron Mini 9 – and specifications are røvkedelig – exactly similar to all the others: ![]()
Intel Atom CPU, 8.9 inch 1024 x 600 LED, 1.3 Mpixel webcam, XP Home installed, bluetooth, 8 or 16GB SSD (here, you get so also 2GB online storage for free from Box.Net – so little “new” is there ). The battery on Dell Asus Eee PC clone keeps in 3 hours, reportedly, so it’s probably standard 3-cells. The appearance is pretty boring in my opinion – here winning Eee PC original and several other NETBOOK’s clear. And then it costs $ 25 extra to have white tops of the lamb – not even colored in white, as an Asus Eee PC is .. The price is $ 399 – though I can not get it below $ 449, – when taken with bluetooth and $ 429, – outside.
So all in all a super sad news – but probably quite wonderful machine – like all the others.
Nevertheless, the fact enough of its buyers, since Dell has gradually recovered their good reputation, under some harm a transition – and then some of the other course is too short to deliver … In addition, the keyboard quality is also crucial for many So that we have to wait for the mass conviction.
It takes a few weeks before we see the Ubuntu version, which will be $ 50 cheaper – and should come in “all” rainbow-colored + perhaps more choices in HD-size (4 GB SSD says the rumors).
