eee pc netbook Dell coming up with the Eee PC clone: Dell E Dell has (like all the other PC producemter) plans to take a bite out of the Asus Eee PC / NETBOOK-market. Their bid called the Dell E. I will not even WebSphere, but merely quote Engadget: “Eeenteresting name choice …”

dell e mini 350x192 Dell coming up with the Eee PC clone: Dell E The specifications are as good (and eventually tiresome) as in all other Netbook – 8.9 inch TFT screen in 1024 x 600, ½ or 1 GB of RAM and SSD disk. Dell writes that the machine comes with Intel Diamondville CPU, but we must not allow themselves to confuse – Diamondville is just the code name for Intel Atom – that is exactly the same as found in MSI Wind and Asus Eee PC 901 and others It is the details that separates all the machines that are on the market and on the road currently separates Dell Here is a little bit from its competitors depends on which model you choose: Bad webcam (only 0.3 pixels), a battery located as something between the two existing poles, namely with 4-cells (3 el. 6 cells are variations so far), bluetooth and WiFi is – and as an interesting variation everything indicates that the machine can be selected with WiMax support if you like that sort of thing. icon smile Dell coming up with the Eee PC clone: Dell E There is also Dell’s Eee-clone apparently in a lot of different colors.
The most interesting (and the only one really separates Dell Eee-clone) is that Dell may be coming up with BlackTop – as a SplashTop clone (maybe they should take in a little better names, so cloning is a little less clear here) . SplashTop is an “almost instant-on” system, as lightning fast start after giving access to some simple features typical Web, Messenger, Skype and Email. See it would be a welcome novelty!

For some reason (price?) Asus has chosen not to include it in their current Eee PCs – however it is with the Asus Eee Box. However, we must remember that Asus can manage to syringe new models out in droves even before Dell finally safe at the beginning of September launch their machine in which the specifications as such are not final. So if Asus sees it as a threat, coming soon to an Asus Eee PC 907 SplashTop-Edition NETBOOK on the market .. icon smile Dell coming up with the Eee PC clone: Dell E

Dell’s next series is in fact two-pronged, as they also have plans to launch a portable 12 “: Dell E Slim – but so are we out of NETBOOK market and over in a more traditional (albeit probably very thin?) subnotebook.

Well, welcome to Dell. icon smile Dell coming up with the Eee PC clone: Dell E More of the same Eee-clone-drawer are on their way from all other notebook manufacturers. The benefit is increased competition, and it can get its next NETBOOK from his usual favorite producer. Hopefully, there are however some soon, which will take on a variation – what with screens of different solution than the usual? Although the market is booming until now, has made micro-portable promotion in many years, so it should be possible to think of something new rather than just the cloning of Asus’ Eee-PC
