EEE PC VS. ACER ONE- which one to buy?

Computing is absolutely essential these days. It is an absolute competitive necessity both in this country and in many developing countries to have a computer in order to be able to excel in school, research new information, and stay on the cutting edge. Not having a computer can shut all sorts of doors as many business and bill based activities have now primarily migrated online, most research and news is now disseminated online, and many jobs are exclusively available online. In addition many employers are specifically looking for computer skills and so if you do not have your own computer odds are you will be disadvantaged in computer proficiency. Given this it is very important for everyone and particularly children in this country to have access to computers. For this to be the case we definitely need options beyond the expensive laptops and desktops out there as these are cost prohibitive for some of the most disadvantage people. As such the EEE PC provides an incredibly pivotal role by making computing accessible and available to those with lower income. This is a very important step in giving them the tools needed to begin getting ahead. This device can surf the web and do all the basics of computing needed to get ahead.

But about which one to buy.. Asus is the marked leader but the netbooks from Acer – including the Acer Aspire One – are equally good in most points. Most Eee PCs and Acer One’s use the same hardware, so the main concern is the battery and form factor., Choose the one that looks better for you – or have the most cells and Amps in the battery, so it will last longer. Concerning battery the Asus EeePc’s er typcially better than the Acer One Aspire.. E.g. the Asus Eee PC 1000HE has very good battery where the Acer Aspire One 120 and Acer Aspire One 150 only last halv as long.. So go with the Asus Eee PC to be on the safe side <img src='http://www.eeepcnews.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' title="EEE PC VS.
The new addition to the shift from VIA for Intel CPU – so now they are more like everyone else. In this case it is an advantage to be as boring as everyone else, since Vista was hard diet of the little VIA cpu, which was the brain of the old HP Netbook. NOW available on both Vista and XP with and I would clearly go for XP model, though I opposed many others have nothing special to Vista – but it’s just too heavy for a sleepy miniput CPU that Intel Atom is purely actually.

The old mini-note was highly commended for the keyboard, which would be the best in class. It is of course unchanged – if it aint broke, do not fix it!

Moreover, one could get the high resolution of the screen – and it can also still – in fact even higher than the old Netbook, along with the cheaper model with the ordinary, small opsløning ..

Here are specs:

CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270
Display: 10.1 “1024 x 576 or 1366 x 768 pixels
HD: 160GB HDD or 80GB SSD
2 USB ports – which many have criticized the old model – it is less than!
3 or 6 cell battery – with 6 cell battery sticks out the rear, but could get the machine to run in 5 hours time ..
HP 3D Drive Guard (security as HD’en off when you lose the machine – if it works perfect starting scams with SSD drives that fumble, at least asSneak peak of the netbook

A final assessment of the Asus Eee Top is difficult to come to because the computer puts itself between two stools.

On the one hand, Eee Top a somewhat half-hearted bid for a touch-PC, where you quite regularly will experience frustration that you are forced to keep a keyboard and mouse on a string.

Moreover the obvious hardware limitations, which means that the PC is only suitable for very basic needs.

Showing good rates
If you and / or your family already holds one or two computers, the Eee Top, however, be an entertaining and different expansion of home computer equipment.

But otherwise, there is good reason to let our eyes dwell on alternatives that something near the same price offers better expansion options and more horsepower.

We reward Asus Eee Top with a 3-figure since it is a means of product without the big gestures.

The touch-sensitive computer displays good rates to the price, and a more consistent user interface in the future might mean that HP will take the competition very seriously.

So far remains Eee Top nevertheless a very interesting PC supplements that appeal to a relatively limited audience.

The project originally called the “$ 100 laptop”, but was later renamed to “One Laptop Per Child” because the vision to keep it under $ 100 are not met.
Since OLPC started the hype around a super cheap PC, somalle developing countries could afford (or other we could afford to donate to them), who began the wave of research at the various PC manufacturers around the world with the aim of low ultra cheap laptop. Intel had originally with the OLPC project, but sprang from and started their own development but with a slightly different focus developing countries: cheap laptop for classrooms. While no one other than directors are familiar with the background, there are many who believe that the OLPC project in this way was to shoot the entire NETBOOK / mini-note market in time, not least, Asus Eee PC is actually done well selling regularly.

The purpose of the OLPC’s XO-computer <img style="margin: 0px; border-style: none! important;" title="OLPC / $ 100 laptop / XO is sold in Europe from today!" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.co.uk/e/ir?t=ep07-21&l=as2&o=2&a=B001LDQWJI" border="0" alt="OLPC / 100$-laptop / XO sælges i Europa fra i dag!
What about the specifications of XO’en? On paper, is at the very first glance nothing to boast of. BUT purpose is completely different than the general Netbook. OLPC’s XO is stable and reliable and with long battery life. The screen is 7.5 “are great, unique, and can both serve as a fairly standard color as well as a black-white monitor with high resolution of 1200 x 900i 200DPI! Super sharp and as one of the few screens as possible to read in direct and strong sunshine. Then you must prove your latest rock climbing or jeep-safari in the desert, it is an XO from OLPC <img style="margin: 0px; border-style: none! important;" title="OLPC / $ 100 laptop / XO is sold in Europe from today!" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.co.uk/e/ir?t=ep07-21&l=as2&o=2&a=B001LDQWJI" border="0" alt="OLPC / 100$-laptop / XO sælges i Europa fra i dag! Bluetooth and bigger HD welcome improvements over the Medion Akoya they had for sale earlier this year. They also writes: “Li-ion battery with high performance” .. Arhhh … See IT is enough to take your mouth a little too full! The emphasis suggests that this is just a 3-cell battery on this machine. And it is clearly the biggest drawback to using it ..

I am “obviously” Eee PC fan – but the reason for choosing Medion Akoya offer of Asus Eee PC 901′eren should be screen size and possible. use too much hard disk space (which, however, is the unsustainable ordinary kind, rather than the shock-SSD model as most Asus Eee PC’s running with). An extra inch does not sound much, but look out more – so dependent on using the COULD be important. For mail, and Word is I do not care. Should I rather read a very, very much text on the train or correct a bit graphics (NOT design – that you must not fool yourself in that you can be on any of them), then I would like to have the extra inch to “get magnified image up “..
But the extra inch does so only 3-cell battery even more miserable, because the screen is a vicious bloodsucker. So my guess is that battery last for approx. An hour of concentrated use, while Asus Eee PC should keep 4-5 x as much time ..
