If you are looking to outfit your highly mobile workforce with the perfect computer to be able to travel and remain productive then you have to look to the Asus EEE PC. The Asus EEE PC has been designed with remote productivity in mind and its incredibly small form factor is perfectly designed for such capabilities. The Asus EEE PC is also remarkably affordable for such a portable computer. Normally an enormous premium is paid for such portability but in the case of this remarkable computer such a huge premium is not necessary. A smart choice of software and a smart choice in hardware has allowed the Asus EEE PC to come in such a small form factor without the huge price and just as importantly without a big tradeoff in performance and without a big tradeoff in connectivity. One of the keys to having a very good mobile computer is remote connectivity options as you will be connecting to the Internet via different protocols. When you are traveling you will have access to Internet via both wifi and via Ethernet. This computer also has an incredibly easy to use interface that can help you get the things you need to do done as quickly as possible.

Since the 1990’s, the technology available for home computing has grown at astronomical proportions. The Asus Eee PC is the epitome of what the machines have evolved into, as it is a compact, light, easy-to-use product with all of the functionality the normal user would ever need or ask for. Once upon a time, computers were only sold in desktop form, and were hefty machines that took up a good portion of space. In no time, the hardware inside of computers became more advanced and allowed for the creation of smaller equipment with better performances. Laptops become available and rapidly grew into the most popular form of PC, something that businesses preferred and families loved. The pinnacle of the new age of laptops has now arrived in the form of the Asus Eee PC 904HA.

If you pass up the opportunity to purchase an Asus Eee PC 904HA, you will be missing out on the latest and greatest computer technology existing in today’s world. With its sleek design and encompassing functionality, it is perfect for surfing the internet, writing a business paper, or even doing schoolwork. The benefits of an Asus Eee PC 904HA are too numerous to list, fully showing that the Asus Eee PC is a great product that cannot be passed up.

EEE PC VS. ACER ONE- which one to buy?

Computing is absolutely essential these days. It is an absolute competitive necessity both in this country and in many developing countries to have a computer in order to be able to excel in school, research new information, and stay on the cutting edge. Not having a computer can shut all sorts of doors as many business and bill based activities have now primarily migrated online, most research and news is now disseminated online, and many jobs are exclusively available online. In addition many employers are specifically looking for computer skills and so if you do not have your own computer odds are you will be disadvantaged in computer proficiency. Given this it is very important for everyone and particularly children in this country to have access to computers. For this to be the case we definitely need options beyond the expensive laptops and desktops out there as these are cost prohibitive for some of the most disadvantage people. As such the EEE PC provides an incredibly pivotal role by making computing accessible and available to those with lower income. This is a very important step in giving them the tools needed to begin getting ahead. This device can surf the web and do all the basics of computing needed to get ahead.

But about which one to buy.. Asus is the marked leader but the netbooks from Acer – including the Acer Aspire One – are equally good in most points. Most Eee PCs and Acer One’s use the same hardware, so the main concern is the battery and form factor., Choose the one that looks better for you – or have the most cells and Amps in the battery, so it will last longer. Concerning battery the Asus EeePc’s er typcially better than the Acer One Aspire.. E.g. the Asus Eee PC 1000HE has very good battery where the Acer Aspire One 120 and Acer Aspire One 150 only last halv as long.. So go with the Asus Eee PC to be on the safe side <img src='http://www.eeepcnews.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' title="EEE PC VS.

Changing Leaders – Acus in front

In the world of technology the leader’s position is the most perilous position of all. The competitors within the tech world are incredibly fierce and each company is always competing for the lead position in their segment of the industry. Given the pace of change in technology and the ingenuity of our engineers leaps are constantly made in technology and even the biggest of giants can’t sit back on their laurels with their current achievements. This virtuous cycle is self-reinforcing and leads to an accelerating pace of innovation. This is demonstrated best in the world of portably computing. This is where Acus is storming forward with their new Acus EEE PC.…

The degree to which this arena changes is mind-boggling and the entries from one year are so outdated a year later that they can only be sold second hand – so good news that the Acus EEEPC is cheap. Recently Apple has been competing heavily in this arena and with their sleek lines of laptops have been doing well. But consumers have been looking for even better portability and so have been drawn to acus eee pc based devices. These Acus EEE PC devices run linux and come in amazing form factors. They are definitely a force to reckon with and Acus EEE PC based machines are becoming far more widely adopted. Acus EEEPC provide a sleek combination of all the features customers are looking for.

The ASUS Triple-E PC is Still Breaking Sales Records!

The latest development in the smoking-hot Linux netbook market is the eee-Xubuntu, which is a customized version of Ubuntu, the world’s most popular Linux system, for the ASUS EEE PC (also known as the the triple-E-PC, EiEiEi-PC and iii-Pc – although the official name is Asus Eee Pc ).

Specifically, it uses a version of “Xubuntu”, which is Ubuntu with the Xfce desktop environment instead of the Gnome one. If you’ve never used Xfce, you’re missing out; it’s a smooth, user-friendly desktop with many similarities to Gnome and yet is many times faster than Gnome and has good, sensible defaults. Xfce is known for being a good choice for office desktops, because it’s a clean, efficient design that doesn’t get in your way.

The tweaks to help it run on the EEEPC include improved WiFi connectivity, a reduction in the number of disk-writes it makes (which spares wear and tear on solid-state drives) and they’ve also made it easier to install from USB instead of needing a CD-ROM, which is nice since Asus Eee Pc does not come with optiacal drive.

In an almost serendipitous coincidence, Amazon has started stocking the ASUS EEEPC in black, available for immediate shipping instead of the common 4 to 6 weeks. The sleek design of ASUS in black, together with a smart Linux system running on it, makes quite a statement about your elite computer skills when you flip it open.

There’s no telling where the Linux age will end up. Ubuntu-based systems just keep devouring the netbook and notebook computer market without real competition. It’s no wonder that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has mourned that Linux now represents a bigger competitor to them than Apple does. Although aboyt 75% of all Asus Eee Pc’s are sold with Windows XP, the Linux marketshare is bigger than on any other consumer market product.

With Eee PC 901 Asus will be on a good specifications, as many of its competitors in the Danish market has on their Netbook. The main change will most buyers have the machine now includes an Intel Atom CPU over-Celeron CPU, as Asus Eee PC 701 and Asus Eee PC 900 contains.

From my point of view it is far more important that the machine would come with 6 cell battery – small 3-cell batteries, with competitors running, is a load. The price is not mad: Around 3000, – according. Linux Hoppen.

They confirmed only that they had godtnok Eee PC stocked, but shortly afterwards sent as an e-mail No. 2, who explained that the product can only be launched Monday (today), and therefore would be shipped today .. Hmm .. Not exactly the best that we believed that we would sit Eee machine in their hands throughout the weekend and so could not have it tomorrow. However, a well be that “they have come” to send the first Eee’er out before launch – it is not known.

MTP Data has chosen not to respond to the mail I sent – it can then call poor customer service, so I would not recommend buying from them.

Update on. 29 / 7: It appears that the MTP had responded to an incorrect email address, because they obviously have been manually by typing in the address. The answer was, moreover, that they had a few pieces in stock of the black Linux variant .. But that is about to be old news now.
