A new addition in the family of Eee PCs

Eee products have introduced a new netbook, Asus’ Eee PC 1000HE, which occupies 10-inch space and has a1024x 600 screen along with a beautiful and glossy finish. The Eee PC, 1000HE is available in fingerprint loving black and white colors and a 1.3-megapixel camera is included in its features’ list. The buttons needed to turn off the monitor or to have a quick change of resolutions or in order to change between power management modes and Skype are easily accessible under the screen. The size of the keyboard is also practical with all keys separated and 12 function buttons as well. The battery back up for the netbook was a little more than four hours with all the power saving features off, bright screen and high volume.

There is a multi touch trackpad that provides with more convenience, as double finger tab will give you push button for middle mouse and right click will be with a triple finger tab. You can swipe two fingers for horizontal or vertical scrolling and swipe three fingers so that Windows Explorer is loaded or task switcher is brought up. You can zoom by pinching and rotate by moving your fingers in circular directions. However the triple finger movement or tab is a bit difficult practically as the size of the trackpad is small. Even the double finger scrolling needs a little practice so that to speed up our work otherwise the netbook is quite acceptable and reliable. The 1000HE is very efficient for office purposes and fundamental Internet browsing.
